EVENT DESCRIPTION
This event was created in 2010 to offer a fun, no-stress training event and "race" that was appropriate for all levels to include young and old, visiting family, super speedsters and first time runners. Since then we've had strollers, walkers, ruckers, and even a man carrying two 50# 5 gallon buckets while dragging a car tire. This non-profit fun-run , will encourage you to stick with your running goals throughout the holiday season and close-out 2015 with one final celebration! Run with the Stoix has also been a catalyst for non-runners, who laced up their shoes for fun and then caught the running bug--so invite your friends if they need a little boost getting started. The NEW FORMAT A 1.55 mile lap will encourage you to set goals for your 5k (running two back to back laps) or accumulate AS MANY LAPS AS POSSIBLE in 90 minutes. (so....4 laps = 10k, 6 laps = 9 miles, etc....) SIGN UP HERE...ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSED

Run with the Stoix and Feats of Strength! i highly recommend you sign up for this and join us! it's a great way to end the year and get ready for the new one. i'm not a runner so i'll be walking the 3 mile loop and then participating in the feats of strength immediately after. (last year i was new to fitness and thought carrying cinder blocks around the block and using them for thrusters was just silly.) it's NEW YEARS EVE MORNING so there's no reason for you NOT to be there. RWTS 2013 Kelley S. this is going to be a milestone for me. Last year was my first RWTS and I just watched all these cool people doing "feats of strength". I said hey, next year I am doing that.
